Yorrilla by Robert Braathe

Yorrilla

What happened to all the Pats Pete’s and Paul’s
Seems like the world has lost its Southern drawls
The days of the new have brought us to
A world where names have no balls

It’s like the hard consonant has lost it’s way
To every Aiden Jayden and Bray
Good old girls like Patty Cathy and Rae
Have been replaced with names I’ll never dare say

What’s next Madame Miller?
Are you gonna name your son something shiller?
Some of these names sound ridilla
Wait till someone names their kid Yorrilla

I like a power name with Ks and Cs
The kris, the Carl the Chucky Cheese
But no matter the birds no matter the bees
I’m not sure Id name my boy Louise

Madison’s lovely
Porter is cool
But name your kid Robbbert
With three b’s and your quite coocoo

What’s next Madame Miller?
Are you gonna name your son something shiller?
Some of these names sound ridilla
Wait till someone names their kid Yorrilla

What’s next Madame Miller?
Are you gonna name your son something shiller?
Some of these names sound ridilla
Wait till someone names their kid Yorrilla

It ain’t a gorilla, Miller
Don’t name your kid Yorrilla
It ain’t a thrilla, Willa
To walk around with the name Yorrilla
