The Girl at the UMass Bus Stop
I didn’t hear you when we were there that day
The minutemen marched and the games they play
But then I got on and drove away
And realize you might of had something to say
I looked at you and you have a smile
It lasted just a little while
We wouldn’t walk down an aisle
But I’ll never forget that sweet sweet mile
Bus stops at school weren’t big back then
To go to class for where and when
before the boys become the men
They need to hear what’s said and pen
About the girl at the UMass bus stop
Who looked at me from that sudden hilltop
If I had bothered to wear my flip flops
I wouldn’t be dreaming of her in tank tops
I went to school with athletes and shock jocks
But one thing I’ll always inbox
Is the way I feel when I think I’m on top
From the day I saw that girl at the UMass bus stop
Bus stops at school weren’t big back then
To go to class for where and when
before the boys become the men
They need to hear what’s said and pen
About the girl at the UMass bus stop
Who looked at me from that sudden hilltop
If I had bothered to wear my flip flops
I wouldn’t be dreaming of her in tank tops
I went to school with athletes and shock jocks
But one thing I’ll always inbox
Is the way I feel when I think I’m on top
From the day I saw that girl at the UMass bus stop
